It was early the next morning when Moth stumbled across Naeldric and I discussing superheroes.  Our conversation was actually more explanation on my part than actual discussion.  Naeldric is fae-born and has spent most of his life within the White Forest so although he's interested, he really doesn't know a great deal about American culture.  One of his missions as a mountain fae trainee took him to an underground rave somewhere in New York and well, let me put it this way.  If the White Forest ever decided to have a rave Nate would be the one hosting it.  Gave himself the nickname Nate, started dressing in very colorful Earth clothing that w

Nukah can be extremely sadistic when he chooses to be.  It's a gift of his, and from what I've heard; it's a trait that all the princes carry.  I think he especially likes to single me out as we're both phoenix blessed and in another time I may have even been the mountain prince myself.  He's also very jealous of his authority and well, there are some other reasons as well.  I think the main one is I never quite lost my Americanism and it irritates him.

It's done. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but let's just say it's easily over 20". On the left is the recipient's patron, the right is the Virgin Mary, and the bottom is her and her husband.

I worked with someone on this scroll, so this is a joint effort between myself and another gentleman. He did the research, drew the entire scroll, helped with the gold leaf, and did the calligraphy. I basically just did the painting and a lot of the leafing.

This is one award that's going to be an heirloom! The miniatures are absolutely beautiful, and so are the decorative plants. There's so much to see in this piece.

Master Philip White, who has been Felice's patron in the SCA. He's a really cool guy, though everyone has remarked on the irony of having him opposite the Virgin Mary.
